Bad Qualities
Overall
Nintendo 3DS
- The battery life leaves something to be desired, lasting around 4-6 hours, although you can get 6-8 hours when playing DS games.
- It doesn't have a very good Circle Pad, and the rubber used on it can easily break off if you play roughly with it.
Nintendo 3DS XL
- Just like the DS Lite, the hinge connecting the screens can get loose and eventually break.
- The speakers are of a much lower sound quality than most other 3DS models.
Nintendo 2DS
New 3DS/New 3DS XL
- Nintendo put way too much support into the New 3DS models, basically forcing people to abandon their old 3DS consoles for the new ones.
- It doesn't come with a charger, meaning you'll have to buy one or have already owned one.
